No panic as winless kroniz meet GGSRT

Kroniz FC will host Guru-Guru Sekolah Rendah Tutong (GGSRT) at the UBD Field on today. With so many games played and no victories to show for it, Kroniz FC is refusing to push the panic button because of the poor run of results.

Instead, Kroniz manager Bab are looking at things in perspective, and they predict that it will be a matter of time before the team start to win again.

Bab commented, “From a manager’s perspective, I guess it is a reasonable not to win in the last few games. We have a lot of old faces 'Nada sadarkan diri" in the team so it will definitely take a lot of time and miracle before the team starts to win again. The warm up futsal games last saturday at JKR didn't help as well as kroniz lost all their games to a much younger generation of players.

“The results might not be there but the same cannot be said about our team spirit and morale, which at the moment is very high. Although they are old and nda sadarkan diri however the hungry players are ready to prove themselves in the team. It was proven that the Roti Gincu Pg Ariffin brought to the game finished in a couple of minute during the futsal games.

“The last few games do not reflect much. A club might also win all their initial games but then lose so many games after that. In my opinion, it is better to assess a club when they have achieved in 15 years of Kroniz FC existence,” Pg Suffian added.

Even though Kroniz are in the doldrums, Bab admitted that the GGSRT are no pushovers and they have beaten kroniz before.

Pg Ariffin Kroniz Asst Manager added, “My opinion is that when we play well, the results will come naturally. Hopefully, we can play well and achieve the results today".

In the previous match, the kroniz were comprehensively defeated by Young veterans with a scoreline of 3-1.

Jamri reflected, “We played our game but we did not take our chances. We conceded the first two goals and the third goal was a result of our defensive mistake.

“But we had good moments in the first half and in the beginning of the second half". Nizam is worried about our performance in the opponents’ penalty box.

"I am very satisfied with the team’s build-up play, physical fitness, passing and the desire to win. But the reality is that if you can’t score more than your opponents, you can’t win the game,” Nizam said.

On a positive note, Kroniz have no major injuries or suspensions to worry about however players attendance to the games is dwelling due to the holiday season.
