Kroniz Fc awesome come back with 2 -0 win.

9th April: Youngstar FC veterans were handed a devastating defeat following a 0-2 defeat to Kroniz Fc at Barakas Camp mini Stadium on Friday night.

Bob and Alinordi scored the two goals of the game in the second half to claim a morale boosting win for the Kronizs after two heavy defeats.

The gallant performance shown by Kroniz should be credited, as they carefully followed the instructions given by their ex manager and took the game to their opponents.

“That was what we were trying to do, and the team did well by closing them down without giving them time while they were on the ball,” revealed the ex manager who is now out of action for at least three weeks due to ankle tendon tear.

In what was probably the best game Kroniz had played this season, with their slick passing and stout defending.

Youngstar Fc veterans with most of the players were ex national team have a busy outing, and they was often in the thick of the action against their nemesis of the evening – Kroniz, who ensured their presence on the field would not go unnoticed.

By the time the game had progressed to this stage, it was clear that the Kroniz were having the upper hand with the kind of fluid passing game.

Twenty five minutes into the second half, Bob finally broke the Youngstar fc veterans defence.

In a reversal of usual roles, midfielder Arch played provider from the right flank, but playmaker showed a lack of composure in front of goal when he was blocked and entangled by his marker however the ball rolled nicely for Bob to slot it home hard and low for a 1 nil lead.

To be fair, Youngstar Fc did gradually find their footing in the second half, however for large parts of the second 45 minutes, they were limited to mounting their offensives from dead-ball situations.

A free kick on the 85 minutes, saw midfielder Alinordi decisive shot that flew past all the blue shirts wall, including the keeper at the near post, putting Kroniz two goal up.

“I think the best team won today and that team is Kroniz, as they played better than Youngstar Fc veterans,” Kroniz manager said.

When enquired on the subject of injured and suspended personnel limiting his options, “Yes, these are problems, which meant I had to make changes to my tactics with the help of kroniz ex manager.

“But this is football. Having said that, we know we lost two previous games, this should not be an excuse,” he concluded.

“It was a good effort against a tough quality opponent that we all know Youngstar Fc Veterans is,” said Nizam.

“Today we got it all right and I hope it continues. I don’t know how they put in the effort, but it was really pleasing, as they showed they are different class and, after losing two games, the character the lads had to come back was awesome.”
