Ruthless win for Kroniz

Nasrin kroniz's young guns scored twice at the newly build SM Menteri Soccer pitch with daunting match against Veteran Football Team (VFT). VFT repersented by Brunei's 80's national team such as Ukoi Enam, Nordin Tujoh and others, played a hard game on the artificial pitch.

Kroniz weathered a first-half hammering for the first 45 action-packed minutes it seemed as if the points were destined for VFT as they bombarded the Kroniz goal. However Kronizs' defences hold out the bombardment and ended the first half 0-0.

Zainal came into the team in the second half and brought variety and pace to Kroniz attack that was so sorely missing in the first half. (Part ani saja kan becerita)

VFT snatching the lead with Ukoi enam  goal fourteen minutes after the restart as Kroniz's called for offside was ignored by the referee.

Never say die attitude of kroniz players today deserved praises as Nasrin planted a near-post shot past VFT keeper to give kroniz the lifeline to tie the game 1-1. 

Five minutes after that goal Nasrin  again broke through VFT defence after some more slack defending and shot at an angle to beat VFT keeper. 

Pressing hard VFT could not make it count and Kroniz punished them ruthlessly. This time Asri solo run beat VFT defenders and latched on cleaver pass from midfield and shot directly at goal to finished off the game with kroniz third.

Final score VFT 1 Kroniz FC 3. Scorer Nasrin (2), Asri (1)

Late night jamming cause for defeat?

20th Nov: Kroniz went down fighting as they battled back from two down but still lost to Moe Senior at Kebajikan Field this Sunday afternoon. Moe Senior looked to be cruising with two goals one from each half.

But Nasrin pulled one back with 30 minutes to go and incessant kroniz pressure in the second half paid off when Bob levelled the score line to 2-2 however and Moe Senior when ahead with the simplest of goal and put the icing on the cake with a late fourth.

In this game Kroniz seem to be tired after a late saturday night jamming were simply giving moe senior too much space. But it was Moe Senior's day and they made sure of the three points. Final score Kroniz 2 Moe Senior 4

Lost despite rousing dispaly of football

Kroniz, conquerors of the previous three games, had to settle for second best at Jerudong Mini Stadium against DPMM Management Football Team despite a rousing display of football.

Trailing 1-0 kroniz  scored the equalizer and by half time the score was 3-3. Kroniz lead again 5 minutes into the second half  to 3-4  until the last 15 minutes thanks to Dodoi who scored all the goals.

However DPMM MFT stepped into another gear and pile the pressure to seal victory in the last 15 minutes to end the game 6 -4 with fine effort from players like Pg Salehuddin, Ali momin, Momin jaffar and others who were the heros in 1999 Malaysia Cup Champion and 2005   S League Champions.

Kroniz have never achieved a victory at DPMM ground and DPMM MFT were good value for their victory, Manager Bab will wonder how they failed to build on their famous lead  and scored four goals against DPMM MFT.

Certainly kroniz  missed a lot of players who fail to turn up, suffering from injuries or personal business.

Dodoi, who was outstanding through out the game made history with scoring four goals against DPMM MFT.

Excellent domination for third win

Kroniz's winning ways continued against SM Lumapas FC as a brace from Nasrin and another from Dodoi kept their undefeated run to three games. SM Lumapas  player score a late effort was scant consolation for the away side. 

Bab's team domination of this match began as early as the fifth minute when kroniz fast attacking style of play caught SM Lumapas defenders  by surprise and Dodoi a young Kroniz signing made no mistake in his solo effort beating a SM Lumapas defender and sent a low shot beyond the reach of the keeper.

SM Lumapas almost equalised moments later when a SM Lumapas striker thundering shot at a close-range tried to be blocked by Pyan however his sliding blocking was a few second late and the ball went straight at goal. Another new signing goal keeper Hj Radzi quick reflection action manage to deflect the ball over the goal post.

Kroniz's Nizam went close to grabbing a few goals but  his shots was deflected around the post and the crossbar, much to the relief of the SM Lumapas Keeper.

Kroniz  went 2-0 up in the 2nd minute, of the second half, when Nasrin another Kroniz young signing manage to  sent a curling shot  on the target over the head of the stricken SM Lumapas keeper after cutting in from the left wing.

Kroniz made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute when Nasrin again collected a fine pass from Alinordi fired from the edge of the penalty area as Kroniz continued to dominate proceedings.

SM Lumapas  pulled one back in the 80th minute when they beat the Kroniz's offside trap and the unmarked striker drive from close range slammed into Kroniz's goal.

A resolute win for Kroniz

Kroniz got their 2010 campaign back on track with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Belantara FC (SM Rimba). 

Kroniz took a shock lead through Yazid after 23 minutes after he failed to make the most of early goal scoring opportunities. Nazrin slotted home a well-taken effort two minutes after the restart to make it 2- 0.

Kroniz were also presented other golden opportunity, such as on 20 minutes when a soft back pass from  midfielder Metusin in his own penalty area gifted Kucang a free shot at goal from 10 yards, but the left-back dragged his shot wide of the far post. Manager Bab had called on his team to produce a strong response from kick-off and commanding the defense to denied Belantara Fc any space following some resolute defending. 

Kroniz goalkeeper Julaihi had not really been troubled, but needed to be alert to collect an inadvertent shot from Belantara Fc, which was set for the top corner, after a free-kick into the kroniz box.

Belantara Fc, however, continued to look dangerous from set-pieces and it was no real surprise when Belantara Fc scored with a well taken header to close the gap. The game ended with back to back win for kroniz 2-1
